MORE 09 / Eastcoast flashes

"More" means "Sea" in Bulgarian.
Last week I went there for a couple of days. Had the luck to stay at my friend's Stili grandmother's house, who unfortunately died this spring. The house is in one of the most quiet spots at the bulgarian seaside, almost no tourists or loud discotheques. Exactly the relax I needed so badly - thank you Stili (and your granny's sis for the tomatoes and for being so cool)!
Here some pics.

Front view of the side of my friends aunt, isn't the window made of a TV frame ruling? The bench is taken from a water wheel:

Behind these dunes...

Is this!

Did I show you the tomatoes?

Some impressions from the "town":
A sudden front part of the famous bulgarian electric heaters named: "Sunrise"

Party Club "Don't know"! I was like whaat

So, yeah, the plan of "folks get brown in the sunshine" happened and now I am ready to breathe some Berlin air again. Smells like an old styled music studio, playing much in F and D, saying "yes" again, but learning to say "no" and trying to get some sh*t done.

Torgelow 2009

There is this village called Torgelow outside of Berlin. There is this house in the beginning of the village. There is this guy Jan and his band, who put their whole vintage instruments in it, to record an album. There is this tape machine and this analogue mixer. There are those 20 people playing singing recording eating drinking sleeping living there right now. There is this music, sounding old and being new.
I went there and said hi.
It had something from "Back in the future" - the going there and the coming back. Flashed. Analoguism is the real sh*t.

One Minute

Wow just got an email, that my short short "Encounter" is chosen to be shown at the One Minute Video-Film Festival in Aarau, Switzerland this year in August 21-23. I totally had forgotten that I had sent them this.

Alphabet Soup

A Room With a View.

My friend Lilia moved in a new flat today. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked ahead from the kitchen.
It's crazy, that we don't see and realize so many things in the city, when we walk on the streets.
Sometimes you just need to change the perspective.
